چکیده
Bangladesh must keep increasing the production of rice (Oryza sativa L.), which is consumed by more than half world's population in order to ensure a steady supply food for everyone. A field experiment was conducted select short durated with high yield potential Aus genotypes under rainfed condition split plot design three replications. Two water regimes (irrigated and rainfed) were imposed into main 39 assigned sub plots. In categorize various groups, multivariate studies including cluster analysis, principal component analysis (PCA), discriminantfunction (DFA) carried out using fifteen quantitative plant traits. Results based on agronomic traits, grouped six clusters. Early maturing are represented II, outstanding performance irrigation III. Additionally, clusters III IV indicate that mature quickly potentiality conditions, respectively. Biological played very vital role both irrigated conditions. PCA revealed PC 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 described 84.90% variation 84.83% condition, altogether. Stepwise DFA showed function 1 2 accounted cumulative 95.40% total variance 92.3% condition. BR24, Rupsail, Kachilon, Kachiloon2, Darial, Katak-Tara2, BRRI dhan43, Bowalia, dhan55 BR14 best The like Laksmilota, Loroi, Dhala Saita-3 Kala manik can be used further study as early genotypes. Genetic Variation and Agronomic Evaluation of Chickpea Cultivars for Grain Yield and Its Components Under Irrigated and Rainfed Growing Conditions
Water deficit is an important factor limiting crop growth all over the world. In order to evaluate genetic variation, heritability and the interrelationship between agronomic traits, twenty chickpea genotypes were cultivated in two separated randomized complete block experiments with three replications under normal irrigated and rainfed conditions. The experiments were carried out at the Agricu...

Preliminary Studies of the Performance of Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) Genotypes under Irrigated and Rainfed Conditions of Central Malawi
The goal of sustainable intensification of agriculture in Malawi has led to the evaluation of innovative, regionally novel or under-utilized crop species. Quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) has the potential to provide a drought tolerant, nutritious alternative to maize. We evaluated 11 diverse varieties of quinoa for their yield and agronomic performance at two locations, Bunda and Bembeke, in...

In a three-year (2004-2006), field experiment, we aimed to study changes in leaf physiological traits (leaf water potential-Ψleaf, leaf water content-LWC, carbon isotope discrimination-Δ, specific leaf area-SLA, chlorophyll content as assessed by SPAD and modified SPAD-MSPAD) and elemental composition (K, Na, Ca, Mg, K/Na, Ca/Mg, total leaf salinity-TLS) of sugar beets (cv. Rizor) grown unde...
متن کاملEvaluation of grain yield and repeatability of drought tolerance indices for screening chickpea (Cicer aritinum L.) genotypes under rainfed conditions
In order to identify drought tolerant chickpea genotypes, an experiment was conducted in the west of Iran, during 2007-2009 cropping seasons. Several selection indices were used to illustrate genotypic differences in response to drought stress. The results of combined analysis of variance showed that year, genotype, stress conditions and their interaction effects were highly significant. Correl...
